Rhett was in his office. He looked at his phone in fury.

What did that brat just say? Did he threaten to get him fired from the secretary of state position?

Although that was what Rhett thought, he had a bad feeling as he heard the clock on the wall ticking. He felt as if something was going to happen, and it had something to do with him.

Could that person on the phone be some powerful person that he could not afford to offend?

He immediately shook his head and wiped out that thought. This was absurd. How could that person be powerful? He sounded so young! He could not possibly do it!

Rhett pondered for a while and thought that he could not just sit and wait. He quickly picked up the phone and called Malcolm once more. He said coldly and impatiently, "Malcolm, my patience's wearing thin. I'm going to give you a minute to take back the order to dismiss Clayton!"

However, the call just connected when Liam took the phone away and hung up right on the spot!
