They were just a few steps away from the door when Corie's outraged cry rang out across the room. The leader immediately balked and lunged for the door.

He had just taken one step when Liam kicked a nearby chair so hard that it sailed across the room and struck the man on his calf!

The chair splintered in half from the force of the impact, and the same happened to the poor man's bone!

"Ahhhhh!" He screamed as his knees gave out beneath him, sending him crumpling to the floor. He clutched his broken leg, howling in agony.

He had fallen so abruptly and uncontrollably that he did not even get the chance to break his fall. He fell face-first, his nose slamming into the leg of a toppled wooden table. He was quite a sight to behold, with his broken nose that spilled fresh blood down his face, along with a large gaping hole in his mouth from two fallen teeth.

Liam took out a cigarette from his pocket, lit it leisurely, then slowly sauntered over to the man. "Did I allow you to leave?"
