Liam said nothing, but his glare never left the gang of angry mobs.

Why would these people just not call it quits?

The leader was strutting arrogantly while holding a steel rod that was half a meter long. When his gaze fell on Corie, who was beside Liam, his lips curled into a lewd smile.

"So, are you Liam?" he asked cockily, pointing the steel rod at Liam's nose.

Liam glared at the steel rod and frowned. He nodded as he replied, "I am."

"Then this will be easy."

The leader sneered and sat in the seat where Corie was previously in.

Liam frowned and asked in return, "And you are?"

The leader ignored Liam. Instead, he grabbed the cutleries on the table and started eating slowly. "All you need to remember is that I am here for your unworthy life," he replied.

Liam's face hardened, and he looked at the leader with a desire to kill as he said, "Do we know each other?"
