Liam patted the back of his scooter and grinned. "Come on, beautiful. It's time to go home!"

Celena giggled into her palm, then trotted over to him, her heels click-clacking against the pavement. "Let's go home!"

All of a sudden, a black van screeched to a halt next to her. The door was flung open, and two men wearing masks and sunglasses reached out to grab her, pulling her right into the van.

"Ahhhhh!" Celena screamed, the color draining from her face. She struggled against their grip, making as much noise as she possibly could. "Who are you? Let me go! Help me! Liam, help me!"

Unfortunately, these men had acted too swiftly, and within seconds, they had already slammed the door shut. The van peeled away at breakneck speed and was soon gone from sight.

It had shown up so abruptly that by the time Liam realized what was going on, it was already too late.
