CHAPTER 1 -Encounter

ZIK'S POV

"What!? I will marry someone!? and worst to a stranger?! Are you out of your mind?! No! I won't ! F*ck!"

*Toot-toot-toot*

I ended the phone call from my father.

*Sigh*

That Bastard.

"I am Zik Ford , 22 Years old and my father? He is Zayn Ford a businessman, rich and greedy, selfish, and a heartless father. He wants to have an arrange marriage using his elder son to one of his target investor, He is worst."

Money? Yeah, I have much but there is one thing I don't have. A father, Yeah you heard it right?

Wondering why?

Though he is my biological father, he didn't treat me right.

He never did.

I wonder if I am made out of love or just lust?

Yeah, I have every material things that the world could offer but there is one thing I don't have and that is a father's love for his son.

I drink the remaining wine in my glass thinking what life really is, because for me it's worst.

QUINLEE'S POV

"Hi daddy, Good morning!"

"Morning, have a sit. We have to talk about a very important matter."

*After 15 minutes*

I drop the spoon I was holding when I heard what my father said.

"What !? No! I can't dad! I'm still young! I still want to finish my studies and I still have a year to do that! and one more thing, I don't think that's right! and worst you want to let me marry that stranger poncious pilate? No, You can't."

"Shut-up! Quinlee! Whether you like it or not, you will marry my friend's son, end of conversation."

Daddy stood up and then turned around, I thought he had nothing more to add to his craziness.

"Trust me, someday you will thank me for this and this is all for your own good, my beloved daughter. "

*Sigh*

All I could do is cry with a bitter smile on my lips, I felt the pain and I Couldn't understand what was happening.

I woke up from a deep sleep, thinking that everything would have been just a dream but it wasn't.

everything that i heard from dad is true, It hurts. I've only been crying tears since I found out what my father wants and he's the type of person with one word and he'll do whatever he wants and nothing can stop him.

"I'm Quinlee Velez, 22 Years old, Yu Velez is my father. He is Rich, powerful, and ambitious. He gives me all the material things I want, I have much but there is one thing that I don't have and that is the love of a father.

---NEGACU UNIVERSITY---

"Quinlee!!!!!!!" My childhood friend Cody shouted.

I am now walking towards my room. I am in my fourth year of college and today is my first day of school.

A kiss? Yes, Cody has been used to kissing my cheek since we were kids. That's what he always does when we meet, we were young when he became my best friend, from when we were young until we stepped into high school and college.

He is Cody Huston, Cody is Rich and handsome, many women likes him but he has introduced no one as his girlfriend yet, maybe he is not ready to have a girlfriend or he is gay. kidding aside. ofcourse! maybe he still focuses on his studies so that's it. *Smile*

We're going to our room now, Yeah, We're going to class. we took up the same course which is business administration.

"Good morning ma'am!" Me and my classmates greeted.

"Good morning! Take your seat, First of all I would like to introduce myself, I am miss Megan Valdez. I will be your instructor for your first subject. Okay Class, since this is your first day, I would like you to introduce yourself too. You don't need to come and stand here in front but just stand next to your sit and introduce yourself, go ahead." She said.

My classmates started introducing themselves and when I was about to introduce myself, A man suddenly entered. He has a red hat and he wear shades. I know that he has a look, I just feel but I don't care.

"Good morning ma'am, sorry I'm late." he greeted

He looked at the entire classroom as if looking for a seat. Wait, he seems to be going to where Cody and I are and to my surprise, he is sitting next to me.

Annoying, He is an attention seeker.

I also noticed that the bitches was screaming. Tss, Those are worthless.

"Alright! Miss? Please proceed." Said ma'am Valdez and I knew that ma'am was referring to me, so I stood up and introduced myself.

"I'm Quinlee Velez, It's nice to meet you all," My introduction.

"Whoaaaaa! That's it?" I heard questions from my classmates but I just ignore them.

"Okay if that's all you want to say miss Velez, next Mr? And please take off your shades and hat." Ma'am Valdez pointed the person next to me with the red hat and he immediately took it.

"I'm Zik Ford."

"Kyaaaahhhhhhhhhh!'"I heard the girls scream, Tsk.

"He's handsome! Kyaaaaaaaaaah! I Like him! He's my Crush!" I heard my female classmates muttering, Tsk. but Of course, I'll admit even if it's disgusting,  he's handsome. Tsk, but I don't care. After the introduction, Our Teacher had a short discussion about the rules and regulations of the school and her class and the worst was that ma'am took note of our seating arrangement and said she would also give it to our other subject teachers so that we could no longer move to another chair and so that he could easily remember our faces and names. So that's it, It means we have a permanent seat here and I can sit next to this man. Tsk!

"Okay, that's all for today. Class Dismiss!" She said goodbye and the rest of my classmates stood up and I also stood out, That's good. Tsk.

"Oh? Why your face is like that?" Cody asked.

"What? What my face looks like?" Why? Am I beautiful? Hey! Cody Huston?! You might forget that I'm just not beautiful! I'm a goddess!" I said simultaneously cross-arms and I rolled my eyes.

"Haha! You're irritated, What's wrong with you? What's your problem? Is that man next to you? Haha, what did that man do and why are you acting like that? Huh?"

"I don't like an attention seeker! My introduction was interrupted earlier because that man suddenly came! Tsk, Whatever! Cody." I turned my back on him and walked out of the room.

"Hey! Quin Wait for me!"

We are here now in the canteen and since this is indeed the University of the rich, our canteen looks like an expensive restaurant but I don't care. I got used to it again because eversince, dad really wanted me to go to a fancy school like this, I was dumbfounded and I thought about what daddy and I talked about 3 days ago. I'm scared, I'm scared of what might happen next, what if on the next day I'm married? How about my studies? And I thought that marriage also means Sex is part of it and that's disgusting. O___o

"No! I don't want to!"

Cody looked at me with a question look. Shit! Wrong move! why did I say that!? It's just in my mind, isn't it? Tsk -_-

"What? What are you saying Quin? What 'no! I don't want to?' and why you look like an idiot? lately and now you've been talking to yourself? Do you have a problem? Tell me Quinlee? I'm your bestfriend right? So you shouldn't be hiding anything from me.

"Ah-eh?-no --- I don't have a problem Cody. Wait, I'll go to the comfort room." I excused myself to Cody and immediately walked to the comfort room. It's not that I don't want to tell Cody about what dad and I talked about but I don't think I can tell him about it yet, maybe I'll tell it next time but not now.

As I walked while out of my mind, I saw one of my classmate on the road not far away, he was no longer wearing his shades and he was only wearing a hat and I walked quickly, when I was about to pass--

*BLAGGGG !!!* I heard a crash.

Annoying! I didn't realize that I had run into a large rock. Embarrassing! I was about to stand up immediately as if nothing had happened when I saw one pair of shoes in front of me and  when I look up, I saw him.

The attention seeker guy.

"Miss? Are you okay?" He asked me.

I stared at him but I didn't answer him, Annoying what does he think? What's fine?! Being Tripped? Tsk. and I didn't restrained my mouth.

"Me !? Okay ?! I Tripped, What's okay with that ?! Hey! Are you kidding?!"

"Yeah, I see." he answered and he turned away. I just watched him walk away. Tsk, stupid!

It's afternoon and I'm on my way home, Cody took his car from the parking lot and he is nearly in the school gate, I'll just go home with him, we're just neighbors, I've sent my personal driver home, Yes I have a personal driver but he's boring because I can't chitchat with the driver, so I'll just go with Cody but when I was about to get in the car, a man in black picked me up effortlessly and put me in the black Van.

"Kyaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!" They pointed a gun at me.

"Shut up or I'll blow your skull!" I heard the man said.

My whole body was shaking with fear, I saw Cody screaming and asking for help, my tears just flowed and the man took a handkerchief, he covered  my nose and I gradually lost my sight.

"Daddy, help me." for the first time I mentioned the name of someone who didn't care about me and it's impossible for him to save me.

SOMEONE'S POV

"Sir, we've already taken him to the new big house you bought." * evil smile*

"Okay." (Men leave)

*Phone rings*

"Hello? Good evening, Mr. Ford ... Yes, aha, how about your son? What's the plan? That's a good idea, haha! Okay, see you."

*Call ended*

ZIK'S POV

I was heading my way to the place where my father told me to go, he gave me an address, he wants me to be there at exactly 8 pm. as I park my car I saw a big house and let's say it's cool, but why I am here? I took a few steps and as I scanned the gate, I saw a key. What's this? Tsk. I walk onto the door and opened it using the key, when the door opens, I saw a man. He punch me great and he cover my nose with unpleasant smell and I remember my father. That bastard and everything went black.

QUINLEE'S POV

When I woke up, I no longer knew where I was. Suddenly my head ached and as I rolled my eyes I saw many men wearing black in front of me.

"Let me go!" I shouted at them because they suddenly grabbed my two hands. I looked around and I saw a white room, it was beautiful and it smelled like this house was newly bought, when I scanned the house I noticed a man walking towards me.

"Hi! It's nice to meet you Miss. So, you're the daughter of Mr.Velez huh?"

I just glared at him and I didn't answer his question instead I asked him another question as well.

"What do you need?" *Phone Rings ~*

He didn't answer because someone was calling on his phone, I just listened to whoever he was talking to because he activated the loud speaker of his phone.

"Hello? What's Up? Mr.Velez? A-huh? I have your daughter already, She's here." *Chuckles*

"What ?!" I heard daddy's voice on the other line. Is that my father he is referring to? question pops -up in my mind as the wicked diverted his gaze on me.

"You know what Mr. Velez? I just simply want something, I want your power, I want your wealth so I kidnapped your daughter."

*Evil laugh*

I heard him said, then the wicked man who is here in front,  he looked at me and he laid a paper in front of me.

"What's this?" I asked.

"You just need to sign that paper." he says.

I was curious so I read the contents of the paper.

Marriage contract? question in my mind.

Dad has already told me about it but I can't believe that in this way, It's exhausting. The tears that I had been holding back flowed.

"Quinlee? Are you still there? answer me." I heard daddy's voice from the phone.

"Dad ?! You know about this don't you?" I asked him.

"Yes but It's not my plan, I was just forced, Mr. Ford is a wealthy man and he has much influence than us, he can do everything, so I'm just afraid of what he can do to you. I'm Sorry. " I heard daddy said.

*Call ended*

The man standing in front of me turned off the phone.

What? I thought that I would marry his friend's son? I don't understand, did my father put on a show? Did he just say that I would marry his friend's son even if this man was his enemy? I'm just crying, The pain is too much, Do I really have to experience all this? confused questions in my mind.

"Anyway, Miss? You heard what your father said, didn't you? We're running out of time, so signed it!" He commanded angrily.

"What ?! No! I'm not going to sign that! I'm not going to marry and wait ... I don't even know who I'm going to marry! You're crazy!"  I blurted and I was angry with the man.

"Look at that name on the paper, He is the one you're going to marry." He says.

I was surprised and quickly looked at the name of whoever this poncious pilate was.

"Zik Ford?!"

Wait ... This name seems familiar to me, I really thought about it but I don't remember anything so I was annoyed and threw the paper away.

"Here! It's yours! I can't allow it! You signed it yourself! What's wrong with you ?! Hey, I'm a goddess ?! That man is so lucky! I haven't even seen or even met him! Then I'm going to get married in name only? Are you crazy !!!! ????! Over my dead body! Try to marry yourself !!!! "I replied annoyed.

Bitch! Alright, if you really don't want to and you don't love your life anymore, It's your choice." He said with a horrible smile so I was nervous.

"Boys ???" he calls the men in black who picked me up earlier.

"You already know what you're going to do." He said and I was terrified because the ugly men who look like goons were getting closer and closer to me.

"Kyaaaaahhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!! Don't! Have mercy on me! I'm still virgin and I still have many dreams in life! Don't! Huhu, Have pity on me!"

I begged and when the wicked man I was talking to was about to walk out the door, I called him again.

"Mr. ???! Hey !!! wait! Don't leave me here!" I shouted, and I was so grateful when he turned around but he looked scary Huhu! and I decided to speak before he changed his mind and went out.

"I agree! I'll sign this paper! Just don't hurt me as well as my father, please." I said and then I fake a smile.

After I signed the paper I was surprised at what I saw because a wide smile formed in his lips.

"Welcome to the family my daughter-in-law, my bestfriend's daughter." I heard him say and he turned away, I was left with eyes almost coming out and couldn't believe the last thing he said, it echoed in my ear, does it mean that they're friends for real? and then I'm his daughter-in-law? Does that mean his son's name is written on the paper? Does that mean it's all just a show? Daddy and that wicked man really planned everything !? and my father and that man are bestfriends?!!!

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!  NO !!!!!!!!!"
