Chapter 04

Aaron had overheard Alex's entire conversation with Brianna Robertson.

Finally, Aaron found out Alex's true identity that he was the only son of the Robertson family.

This made Aaron feel very shocked and did not expect that it turned out that his best friend's husband was an enemy of her own family.

“ALEX!” Aaron snapped as he approached Alex. “So you are the one who got Chris into trouble?!”

Alex was immediately shocked because Aaron overheard his conversation with his mother.

“What do you mean, Aaron? I don't understand what you're saying.”

“You don't have to play in front of me anymore. I've heard everything you said to your mother. So it turns out you're the only son of the Robertson family. You must have married Adaline to easily avenge your family, right?”

Alex fell silent. He felt very panicked because his identity had been exposed in front of Aaron. So, he doesn't know what to do now.

“Come with me, you savage man! Now I will reveal who you are,” said Aaron then pulled Alex's hand to immediately report it to the Herbert family.

“No, Aaron! I am not the son of the Robertson family. I am the only son of the William family. What you have heard is a misunderstanding.”

“COME ON FOLLOW ME!” Aaron snapped and kept pulling Alex's hand.

This made Alex even more shocked, panicked, and scared until his tears fell. He was very afraid that his life would end up languishing in prison like his parents.

Alex held Aaron's hand and kept trying to convince Aaron that he was not the Robertson family.

Aaron will no longer be fooled by him because he has overheard Alex's conversation with Brianna Robertson.

Finally, Alex deliberately pushed Aaron to fall from the balcony. He did that because he felt very depressed.

Now, Aaron is lying in the yard with a body covered in blood.

“Oh, my God! What have I done? I have killed people who are not my enemy,” Alex sobbed as he threw himself on the balcony floor.

His panic now became so intense that it made his body helpless. He felt very sure that soon he would be in prison for killing Aaron.

A few seconds later, Alex suddenly smiled.

He smiled because he got the idea to still be able to hide his crimes.

“Thank you, God. Thanks for giving me the idea.”

Alex quickly took the drink bottle that was on the table in his room and then spilled it around the balcony.

After that, he undressed and put it back in the cupboard then took the towel and returned to the bathroom.

He was sure his plan would work. Everyone must have thought Aaron fell because he slipped.

No one would have thought that Alex had pushed him because he was pretending he was still in the shower.

“Calm yourself, Alex Robertson. Everything will be fine.”

Meanwhile, Adaline is still in Chris's room and constantly worrying about him.

“Mrs. Adaline.”

Suddenly, a servant came up to her with a very panicked face.

“Mr. Aaron has fallen from the balcony of your room. Now he is on the front page in a very dire condition.”

“WHAT?” It shocked Adaline. She then quickly ran to Aaron in the front yard.

Upon arrival, her body suddenly became very weak until she finally fainted.

She felt very helpless with the bad things that happened to the people she cared about the most today.

Time keeps running. The clock now shows 01.00 PM.

“Aaron!” Adaline woke up from fainting in her room while calling Aaron.

“Adaline, thank goodness you woke up from fainting,” said Mrs. Caroline, who had been waiting for Adaline to wake up.

“Mom, where is Aaron? How are things now?”

Mrs. Caroline's tears immediately fell when she heard Adaline ask Aaron.

“He received a serious blow to the head. It resulted in him falling into a more critical coma than Chris,” sobbed Mrs. Caroline.

Adaline immediately cried with a very broken heart after hearing the bad news. She then hugged her mother and burst into tears together.

Shortly after, she remembered Alex. Suddenly she became worried for her husband.

“Mom, where is Alex? Where's my husband? He's fine, right?”

“Alex is still in the hospital with Aaron's parents.

According to the maid's explanation, Aaron wants to wait for Alex who is taking a shower on the balcony of your room. He then slipped because there was a spill of water there.

Besides that, Mommy received news from the police who had already investigated Chris' accident.

It turns out that the brakes on Chris' car broke causing him to accidentally hit an electric wall and end up having an accident.”

“What? Chris' car brake broke? Does that mean, someone deliberately cut the brakes on his car because he wanted him to crash?”

“Yes, honey, the police also said that. Now the police have started looking for the culprit.”

Hearing that, Adaline remembered her dream this morning.

She felt her dream was indeed a very real sign, about the Robertson family's only son who would do evil to her family.

Now Adaline could guess that the person who had harmed Chris was the son of the Robertson family.

She didn't want to talk about it with her mother now because she didn't want to further mess her up.

Meanwhile, Alex is still in the room where Aaron lying in a coma. He was there with Aaron's parents, namely Mr. Spencer Laurent and Mrs. Aurora Laurent.

Alex's feelings are still very scary if suddenly Aaron wakes up from a coma and reveals his identity.

So, he decided to stay in the hospital while thinking of ways to be able to kill Aaron today.

“Alex,” called Mr. Spencer. “Can I ask you to look after Aaron for a bit? My wife and I wanted to buy some food and calm us down.”

“Of course, Mr. Spencer. I hope you two can calm down well,” replied Alex with a smile.

“Thank You.” Mr. Spencer smiled. After that, go with Mrs. Aurora.

After they left, Alex immediately had an idea to kill Aaron.

He would do so by removing Aaron's respirator and then smothering him in a pillow.

After Aaron died from not being able to breathe, Alex would put the respirator back on so the doctor would think Aaron died from the accident he had.

A sense of revenge has taken over Alex so that he can always come up with ideas easily to be able to kill anyone.

“I'm sorry, Aaron. I didn't intend to kill you because you are not Herbert's family, but you have caused trouble with me. So, I have to kill you immediately to keep my identity safe.”

Alex then proceeds to remove Aaron's respirator and begins to carry out his plan to kill him.
