Chapter 134- Encountering her

It was the weekend. Carl Black came to the capital city to look for Lisa. He woke up early in the morning and came to a store a little far from the hotel, where he was staying.

He took his phone out of his pocket and showed Lisa’s photo to the shopkeeper, “Hello, have you ever seen her here?”

The shopkeeper looked at the photo closely and shook his head, “No.” He then busied himself with his work.

Carl Black asked him again, showing her photo, “Can you see the photo again? And please try to remember if she has come here earlier.” His tone was pleading.

The shopkeeper shot an irritated look at him and said, “Many people are coming here. How am I supposed to remember everyone’s face? Go to the police station.” He signaled to go out with a wave of his hand.
