CHAPTER 127

Ray had just picked Rose up from work but she seemed very moody. He had thought that her first day at his Godmother’s company would be filled with so many new occurrences in her life that she would like to share with him but it seemed to be the opposite.

“Uhmmm, are you okay? You are so quiet and it getting me worried. Aren't you at least going to tell me about your first day at work?” he had asked her politely.

“It was okay, your Godmother was honestly nice. I’m just a bit uncomfortable because I’m going to be working with Stephanie!” Rose finally blurted everything out.

“Wait, you saw her there?” Ray asked with skepticism written all over his face.

“Well yeah, we had seen each other there and it turns out that your Godmother usually hires her to host or model whenever they have an event coming up!” Rose said, and that had left Ray a bit speechless for some seconds.
