CHAPTER 108

The beeping sound of the phone was heard as Raya walked out of the shower before tying her towel around her body. She walked out of the bathroom before picking up her phone to slide the answer button.

“Hello mommy?” she said with a widened smile before sitting down on the well-laid bed.

“Hello Raya, how are you doing?” Claudia's voice came.

“Am doing good and you. Are you starting to feel better mommy?” Raya asked.

“No, not really! I think that my condition is starting to get worse than before,” Claudia told her on the phone and that had gotten the little girl worried.

“What did the doctor tell you?” Raya asked.

“Nothing yet, I-ii can feel my body weakening, i’m really scared right now baby” Claudia responded in a stutter.

“Why mommy, what's wrong?” Raya inquired.

“Everything is wrong my dear, ever since you were taken away from me by Jessica I feel sadder each passing day but Raya, I'm more concerned about your condition. I’m worried about you, listen to me, honey! Do not trust Jessi
