Chapter 18 Argument

“CALIX!” I smiled slightly, even though his eyes were now focused on Rexon.

“What is he doing here? Is this man harassing you again?” He was planning to approach Rexon, but I quickly intervened.

“No, he wasn’t. We were just talking,” I said in a somewhat worried voice.

“Then what?” He furrowed his brows when he asked me.

But I still couldn’t answer when I felt his hand on my shoulder that paralyzed all over my body.

“She is already accepting my offer and she will be my personal assistant from now on,” Rexon clearly pronounced.

I saw the shock on Calixto’s face when he heard that. Nor did not escape his sharp look at Rexon’s hand that remained on my shoulder.
