Deluded! Outraged! Such emotions overwhelmed me as I spot my ex-husband Leo striding across the room with his girlfriend, Stacy. I crouched in the middle of the room of Grillar Restaurant clutching a tumbler of chilled soda. Leo and Stacy ambled through the doors from the entrance in each other's arms. The doors were coated with an abstract design of vines and flowers.

Leo and Stacy noticed a desolate seat in the left row. It was coated with a white tablecloth. It was strategically set as if the Queen of England were to be expected. They were approaching the table and they halted soon as they spot me. Leo's lips curled into a smile, he spoke to Stacy, "come on, let's go say hello to Margaret."

Margaret Davies is my name.

"Sure." Stacy smiled back at him and they approached my seat.

The room was tranquil and peaceful. The hummings in the room was inaudible. The only sound that can be heard is the peaceful piano melody classical music playing faintly like lightning falling in the background that calms everyone.

"Margaret." His voice was bass-like. I listened to his voice and I discerned that it is Leo's voice. My heart jogged fast desiring that it is not really him. But who would know my name? I'm not famous. In curiousness, I veered unhurriedly and I looked at Leo. My eyes enlarged in stupefaction that it is actually him. But what's he doing at my table? I noticed Stacy besides him and peering at her hand clutching his arm, it was plausible that she is his girlfriend.

Leo already moved on? How could he and that quickly? We just got divorced three days ago and he's already dating someone?

"Hi Margaret." He smiled at me.

I was so startled I couldn't speak my lips faltered and my eye lashes shook.

"Hello?" Stacy spanned her hand towards me. I peeked at her lips which were coated with crimson lipstick, her owl-like eyes, her flawless cheeks and her remarkable nose. She wore a dashing ruddy gown which disclosed her curvaceous hips.

She shook my hand, "I am Stacy Leo's fiancée." She smiled with her mouth slightly opened I could plainly see her dazzling angel-white incisors.

She's not just a girlfriend. Leo's engaged to her? Unbelievable! Little wonder why he always kept late nights while we were together. And the rumors about him having an affair, they were really true. How dare he stand in front of me with his mistress? I could not nag or argue. He's a free man, he has all rights to roam around the city with his mistress. I felt a stab of pain in my chest that although he cheated on me, I have no right to fight or make a fuss about it since we are divorced. And that my feelings would not matter.

I glanced at a glinting diamond ring draped in Stacy's finger. I felt she shook my hand on purpose to flaunt her engagement ring to me. I didn't realize tears welling in my eyes until I felt it prickling my eyes.

They swerved from my table. I was still in shock I did not have an appetite to eat anymore. A basket of lustrous brown bread sticks was set in front of my table along with a glass bowl of freshly cut emerald salad. I love bread sticks. When taking a slice of bread sticks I enjoy the blend of oregano, garlic and salt and the soft spongy texture of the light colored bread but I suddenly felt irritated with the dish.

Also, the permeating aroma of the restaurant was whacking my nose as the intermingling scents of pasta, breads, soups and more assault my senses. I couldn't still feel an appetite. It was almost as if my tummy was numb.

I glanced over my shoulder and gazed at Leo and Stacy's table. Their table was only five feet away from mine so I could easily see them. Stacy put her arm around Leo's shoulder, and he leaned in smooching her lips affectionately. I noticed the excitement on Leo's face I did not know Leo is such a good kisser. The glass of soda in my hand was quivering and I did not realize my hand was twitching until the soda splashed on my blouse. I glanced at drops of the soda squirted on the table.

I patted my chest. It felt like a dagger was plunging into my chest tears uncontrollably spurted from my hazel-net eyes. I was unconsciously staring at the walls cogitating. The walls around the room was like a castle like brick color that gives a comfortable feeling and a sense of upperclass. Leo has always taken me out with him to expensive restaurants but not to such an elegant restaurant as this. It’s incredibly hard to find a great restaurant that has attentive servers, high quality food served in a timely manner, a friendly atmosphere, and overall cleanliness.

I did not want anyone especially Stacy and Leo to see me shivering and whimpering, I clasped my handbag and I was striding across the room. My lustrous night-black four inch heels are muffled against the bright red carpet as I make my way to the doors.

Two men in suits and white gloves open the heavy dark mahogany double doors as I stepped outside.

I paused by the doors hoping that Leo and Stacy will have stopped kissing. I peeked inside the restaurant through the window and I shivered seeing the two of them still smooching and they were giggling. I suddenly felt a tingling chilliness inside my bones and in my chest. I moaned.

I ambled towards the back of the restaurant and glid through a hallway which flows into a large staircase that forms a main means of egress to the restaurant's roof top. I was walking unhurriedly like a snail and without agility. I was muttering amid tears, " he didn't love me. He doesn't love me. He didn't love me. He doesn't loves me." I repeated as if reciting a poem.

I stepped into the roof top and I waddled across the roof top. The raucous shrieking wind beclouded my voice I could not listen to my voice anymore I could only feel my lips moving. The breeze snuggled me lovingly like a blanket and it stroke my hair. The strands of my hair trembled on my shoulders.

I waddled towards the edge of the rooftop. I visualized falling from the rooftop. I did not want to live anymore. How could I still want to live when the man I gave my all to has replaced me? Heck, has been having an affair. At that moment, my assets such as my Lamborghini truck, my expensive gorgeous dresses and my jewelries did not matter to me anymore. Living disgusted me. I do not want to recall his infidelity. Atleast, if I die, I won't ever be reminded of it.
