Chapter Eighteen

ETHANE

I heard the main door opening and closing. I glanced at my Angel and saw her sleeping peacefully in my embrace.

I slowly removed her from me and wore my clothes before making my way out of her bedroom. I walked downstairs and saw her parents in the living room. They turned their heads to me and froze, eyes widening in fear.

I sat across from them and crossed my legs while taking out my cigarette and lighter, smoking. I released a ring of smoke and said,

“ I’m sure you two know what I came for.” They gulped and kept their gaze down,

“ Well then, we will be leaving.” I said and her father looked up,

“ Please don’t take her away.” He begged and I smirked,

“ I can’t do that, your daughter
