Chapter 6: Trey

Both of us were just quiet the whole ride. His full attention was fixated on the road while I looked outside the window of the car—watching the scenery we passed by. Until I felt my eyes becoming heavy. Then, eventually, I fell asleep.

"Hmm," I hummed and slowly opened my eyes when I heard a clicking sound.

I softly rubbed my eyes to get my vision back because it was a little bit hazy. Then I slowly turned around to the driver's seat. But I was stunned to see that the person sitting beside me was gone. When I looked outside, I immediately spotted my boss who is now at the entrance of a Chinese restaurant.
