Chapter 30: Veracity

"What are you, Elise? A plumb? Come here," he muttered in a serious tone as he gestured his hand in the vacant space beside him.

We are now here inside his office. He is sitting at the couch while I choose to just stand near the door so that whatever happens I can easily run away.

I am a bit hesitant to come closer to him because based on his serious aura right now, he doesn't seem to be in a good mood. Perhaps, he was really mad about what I had posted on I*******m.

But I don’t understand why he would be. I don't see anything wrong with that. Traise just simply put his arms across my shoulder while I smiled at the camera. So, I really don't get it why would he be furious at that.
