Terry’s face fell. He ran through the flight itinerary I had sent him, verifying the date and time repeatedly. However, nothing appeared out of place. Our last interaction was this morning when I sent Terry a cute birthday emoji with the message “Happy Birthday”. Terry beamed with joy and love upon receiving the text message. Yet now, these blaring well-wishing words left him unsettled and on edge. Tensing his facial muscles, he called the housekeeper in charge of my care in Libestar. The call quickly connected, and the housekeeper followed my instructions to a tee, expressing that I was on a later flight home. However, the flight should have landed an hour later. I watched in devastation as Terry clenched his fists. The gaping hole in my chest whistled in the wind, piercing me in pain. Suddenly, Terry jolted to his feet, and the guests were caught off guard.
