"Now that Mrs. Gomez is here, I'll be leaving," Lorelei awkwardly said goodbye and left.

Coco turned to Lucas, confused. "Wasn't that Lorelei Mills? What did you two talk about?"

"Lorelei? Is that her name?" Lucas said nonchalantly.

"You don't know her?" Coco seemed very surprised.

"Why should I know her?" Lucas asked in reply.

"Well… She's been the lead actress in several dramas, other than her debut series," Coco said. The dramas were not big hits but were considerably good and above average.

"So what? It's just a couple of lead roles." Lucas remained indifferent, leaving Coco dumbfounded.

Lucas had a point. He was powerful and knew many big names in showbiz, and Lorelei was insignificant compared to them.

"You don't know her, but you two were…"

"She wanted to tell me something, but I wasn't interested. I didn't know her, so I told her not to talk to me," Lucas explained.

Coco was left speechless. She finally realized why Lorelei looked so awkward before she left.
