Coco called Minnie immediately, but her phone was turned off.

Her heart sank as she wondered if Minnie’s phone was dead or if something had happened to her. She had a sense of foreboding.

Coco got up and started searching the bar. However, the place was so noisy and crowded with lights constantly shifting from bright to dim that she could hardly see anything.

Soon, she finally found the bar manager. "My friend is missing. Can you make an announcement to help me find her?" Coco asked urgently.

The manager responded as if he’d heard a great joke. "Miss, your friend is an adult, right? She might have already left. You want us to make an announcement to find her? Do you think this is a mall?"

"But my friend's phone was suddenly turned off, and she’s nowhere to be found. If she really needed to leave, she would’ve waited a bit or left a note," Coco insisted.

"Maybe she stood you up on purpose," the manager suggested, looking at Coco with a hint of sympathy.
