Coco felt a pang in her chest looking at Lucas’s smile.

At the hospital, the doctors examined both Lucas and Minnie. They also brought the unfinished drink from the bar for analysis. It was confirmed that Minnie’s drink had been spiked with sedatives. She was still asleep now and would wake up once the effects wore off.

Coco felt at ease when she learned that Minnie was fine.
