"Really?" Wilson suddenly moved and stood up. He released his grip and yanked his shirt off, showing her the scars on his body.

Clara stared at the hideous scar dumbfounded, this time getting a clearer view of it.

"Does it still hurt?" she asked, tears bright in her eyes.

"It's been two months. What do you think?" he said coldly.

Clara should be relieved that it no longer hurt. "I'm sorry… You got hurt so badly for me…"

"It wasn't for you. I just did what my old self told me to do," Wilson's voice was cold.

"I've shown you the wound. So, don't casually come to undress me again." Wilson warned, suddenly leaning close to her.

Wilson reached in front of her and stroked one fingertip over her lips. "Trust me. I'm not interested in you at all!" With that, he turned around and left the courtyard.

Clara watched as Wilson walked away, feeling his lingering warmth on her skin. The bet did not improve the distance between them. Wilson clearly showed his intention to stay away from her
