“It’s fine. I want to know what he wants with me.”

Clara asked the nurse to bring Harvey into her ward.

She was surprised to see Harvey looking haggard and disheveled. He was wearing a wrinkled suit and no longer looked smart like the first time she met him.

Harvey was anxious when he met Wilson and Clara. “Mr. and Mrs. Birch, my family had nothing to do with Queenie. We didn’t know anything and we are not involved in the kidnapping incident. It was Queenie’s idea to do that. I’ve already broken up with her before she targeted you, Mrs. Birch. You can do a fact-check on that.”

“Mr. Powell, why are you telling me this? If you’re afraid of being affected by this incident, you should talk to the police, not us,” Clara said.

Harvey knew that he wasn't arrested by the police because he had nothing to do with the case, but everyone in the business circle knew that Queenie was his lover.

Many people in Solaria knew that Queenie was apprehended although the police didn’t report it.
