Caden was happy to have Cynthia around.

Jacqueline had been moping around during the party because she hadn’t seen Frederick yet. She was waiting for Frederick’s present.

“What’s wrong? You look unhappy.” Serenity asked.

“Mommy, why isn’t Fred coming?”

“Didn’t Fred say that he didn’t like the crowd when we left home?”

Jacqueline pouted. “If I had known about it, I would have invited fewer people to the birthday party. There are so many guests that I don’t even know!”

Serenity patted Jacqueline’s head. “Do you want Fred to attend your birthday party that much?”
