Chapter 1912

Serenity gritted her teeth and endured the pain. She did not want her enemies to gloat over her suffering or let those who cared about her be worried about her either. But the more she endured, Monica dug her nails at the wound harder, causing a pain greater than the pain she felt when the dagger cut her.

"Serenity, aren't you proud of yourself? Aren't you going to be the savior and save your best friend? Now, do you understand the price you have to pay?" Monica hissed viciously.

Serenity was in a constant cold sweat, her face frighteningly pale as she bled.

Lisa saw her friend in pain, and tears filled her eyes. "Monica! Serenity has nothing to do with this! She's just helping me! You should be dealing with me, so come at me! Torture me all you want, but don't you ever hurt her again—!"

Lisa's pain made Monica laugh. "Want me to let her go? Oh, sure. Jump down the roof, and I'll forget all about our grudges and let her go!"
