"But I don't like them," said Caden.

"Why not?" asked Cynthia. "They're good people!"

"But they'll separate me from you, won't they? I might not get to live with you anymore! I don't like them, and I don't want them to be my Daddy and Mommy!"

As Caden spoke, he reached out both of his arms and hugged Cynthia, burying his little face in her chest. He was clearly very attached to her. And now, he was back to being an obedient little kitty.

Cynthia looked sad when she heard what Caden had said. She turned to Jackson and Serenity and asked, "Are you really going to take Caden away, Uncle Jackson, Aunt Serenity?"

"Caden is our son," replied Jackson. "Naturally, he'll come back to our family and live with us, but if you'd like to meet each other, you can always come and visit."

"I don't want to live with you!" argued Caden. "I just want to live with Sis!"

The boy then hugged Cynthia a little tighter now, and the look he gave Jackson and Serenity was even more full of hostility. To him
