Chapter 1752

It was late at night. Jackson was at the detention center, waiting in the dimly lit visiting room with only a yellow lamp glowing in the dark.

A guard brought Walter to the dimly lit room, and Jackson sat in the chair, staring at Walter with cold eyes. The guard who had brought Walter left the room and closed the door, leaving Walter and Jackson alone.

Jackson began to speak. "You knew I was coming."

"I didn't know. But since you're here, you must have questions for me," Walter replied with a small smile.

Jackson stared straight at Walter, getting right to the point. "You knew that Caden is my child. Who else knew?"

Anyone would have felt pressured by Jackson's sharp gaze, but Walter looked nonchalant. "I don't know what you're talking about, Mr. Valor."

"You don't understand?" Jackson got up and strode to Walter, grabbing him by the face and slamming him to the table. He messed Walter up pretty badly.
