Chapter 1255

Lynette headed to Lucas' private residence with a terribly swollen face. She wanted to complain about her aggrievement, but more importantly, she wanted to tell Lucas that Serenity and Jackson had gotten married!

Lynette considered Serenity's marriage the only good news after she had gotten beaten harshly. She hoped Lucas would end his feelings for Serenity after learning about the news of their marriage. Jealousy consumed her when she thought about how Serenity had actually gotten married into a wealthy family.

Lynette arrived at the villa but never expected to get stopped at the gate. The security refused to let her in. "Mr. Gomez isn't around," the guard said.

"Although he's not here, I can go in and wait for him. He has never stopped me from going in before," Lynette said arrogantly, venting her anger on the guard.

"That was in the past. Mr. Gomez gave us an order yesterday. We mustn't let you set foot in here again," the guard explained.

Lynette was stunned. "What?!"
