Something is wrong

FREDERICK's POV.

I paced back and forth in my room, my eyes pinned on my wristwatch. I felt uneasy. Was something wrong? Did anything happen to her? Why was she running late? Did I by chance make her uncomfortable?

All these questions made my belly churn; it made me sick, seeing how I could do nothing but wait. It still had a lot of stuff in my mind; I barely slept; my mind had been reoccupied with her; I waited all night to spend time with her.

“Anyone there?” I called out,

The door opened slowly, and one of the security's men made his way into the room.

“You called for me, sire!” He asked, and I nodded.

“Tell the driver to head on to Cain's house, and being down Tiana here, she's running late, and I don't like being delayed.” I ordered.

He nodded. In response to my words before excusing himself out the door, slouched my shoulders before sinking into the couch. My heart was racing merely thinking about her. I regret a lot of my past decisions.

I should have just told her the truth
