Simon stared at his phone in a daze. "Isn't it inconvenient for Gladyce to answer the call?" Thinking that he was not far from the Forty-second Office, he decided to just go and see her.

With no obstacles on the way, Simon found Gladyce in the computer room.

But Gladyce was not alone; she was busy with her work. But she must have solved a problem or something because she had her head high and was smiling at one of her male colleagues beside her.

"You're awesome, Gladyce. Since you've been here, we're able to solve problems much more quickly."

Gladyce's face broke into a smile. "So you wanna thank me? How about buying me something to eat?"

"Hmm?" The colleague was stunned and immediately smiled. "No problem, what would you like to eat?"

Gladyce covered her stomach with her hands. She had just thrown up her lunch, so she was really hungry. "Just some milk and bread. I'm a little hungry... I didn't have enough to eat for
