Ella held the little girl in her arms and her face was filled with gentleness and warmth. She looked at Daniel and tried to hand him the baby.

Daniel shook his head, “She is so tiny. I am afraid that I might squash her with my strength.”

Ella did not know whether to laugh or cry when she heard that. Newborns are always tiny. It was hectic to take care of them, but as parents, some things just came naturally.

“Come on, give it a try. If you miss this chance, you will definitely regret it when she is all grown up.”

Daniel could never refuse any of Ella’s requests. Although he did not know what to do, he stretched out his long arms and Ella passed him the baby.

The moment he held her in his arms, Daniel felt a strange feeling that he had never felt before bubble in his chest. He looked at the little girl whose eyes were closed, and a warm and fuzzy feeling filled his heart.

He gently carried her, afraid that he might squeeze her to death if he applied any pressure.
