Samantha Point of view
I stared at Tera in full terror. Her face and the skin of her body began to darken. Her neck was still stretched from the sudden complete rotation of her head. She repeatedly recited the whole spell, including the newly added sentence at the last part.
I looked at everything that was going on. The fire was getting hotter and harder to stay close to. I tried to push forward but I felt my feet stuck in place. At first, I thought it was due to my fear of what happening in front of me but once I looked down, I saw that the ground wasn't solid anymore. It was like a quicksand.
Gravity was pushing me into the ground slowly. As I tried to move out of its grip, I notice Tera looking at me. Her pitch-black eyes stared into mine. I see that her hands were already raised towards the ground.
She was making the ground hold on to me so I wouldn't try to move. I looked at her, trying to
Samantha Point of view"You can't be serious." Lena stood beside me with her arms crossed in front of her. Her eyes glances at the demon everyone in a while as we talked."We don't have a choice," I said. I peeked to look at the demon but she was busy restoring the herb to its original state in the bowl. She slowly starting to fix everything that she caused since her appearance in Tera's body. The ground was solid and the grass came back to life. Even the flames lessened and turned back to red flames.I quickly turn back to Lena and whispered to her, "Trust me, If we don't accept her offer then we are as good as dead." Lena didn't reply but she knew that it was true. "I'll think of a plan along the way.""You are forgetting that we need to give something in return for her service," Lena whispers back. She peeks at Tera and we see her chanting over the bowl. Could be something to help the spell to work. "I don't know. I don't f
Samantha Point of viewThe demon chanted and brought the spell to the point before she possessed Tera's body. The candles all lit up. The pages that were surrounding the candles burned with a blue flame. The demon chanted louder and it made the flames of the candles rise even higher than before. The demon looks at us for the last time and threatened, "Not a word to Tera, or the deal is off. You know what will happen when there will be no deal, don't you."Demon touches the flames but it does not burn her skin. Her pitch-black eyes had light reflected in them as she stared at the burning flame. She smiles excitingly as she tried to grab the flame with her hands. The demon went back to Tera's spot. She knelt down, facing the bowl. She took out her hand and opened it up. She was stared at her own hand for too long until fire ignited above it. She demon brought it down to the ground then the ground absorbed it.
Samantha Point of View With each passing moment, the morning grew darker. The wind blew the trees and leaves began to fall on all of us. Mom arrived a few moments after Rai did. It pained me to see her. She was in a complete mess. Her clothes were crumpled. Her hair was all over the place. It was as if she was pulling on them all night. The tired eyes made me think that was the case. Mom moves her eyes everywhere. Her eyes were angry when she saw Rai but once it moved to Tera, Lena, and the things used for the spell, she was confused. She brought her hand up into her messy hair. When her eyes traveled into mine, it was like a dagger went down my throat and pierced my heart. Mom looks at me with so many emotions flashing in her eyes but I mostly saw betrayal. I see her eyes were still wet from crying. Her puffy eyes and red nose. Her hand that was in her hair fell the longer she stares at me. I see it. Betrayal, disappointment, ang
Samantha Point of viewI kept falling and falling and falling until I smashed the cold ice and into the sea of darkness. My eyes open and I could only see the faint light of the moon but with each passing moment, the light faded away.I tried to move my body to swim to the service but I couldn't. My body was completely numb and can't feel them at all. I desperately sucked in a deep breath but drowned myself in the process. The light gets weaker and weaker as I sank.Something long and smooth grazed my skin from underneath. I couldn't move to see what it was but I could feel it wrapping itself tightly around my ankles. My eyes widened when I felt its grip tighten around my ankle. My heart dropped when an idea popped into my mind.It was going to pull me down.On cue, the thing wrapped itself around my ankle with a death grip and pulled me under pure darkness. I screamed but bubbles were the only thing that ca
Samantha Point of ViewWe don't feel the coldness of the winter season. We were completely immuned as we were simply a ghost in my own memories. Rai grabbed a dark coat that I assumed was his that he threw before saving Samira. He laid it over Samira's pale wet body to give her warmth. As I watched the scene in front of me, Aria explained to me that the spell worked too well. Time was reverted back to when Sophie became sick. Ever since then, the past that we knew changed. "You reverted time but that does not mean that every decision made in the past will stay the same. You have changed the timeline and now this is the result."Aria looks over to Samira in Rai's arms as they walked away. We both followed behind them. We entered a warm-looking building with a medical symbol outside the door. A woman answered the door and quickly let them in as soon as she saw Samira in his arms. She ushered them in and prepared the bed. The woman asked for
Samantha Point of View"The necklace," I said dumbstruck for a moment. Aria was standing in front of me with her hands holding on to my arms. She was trying to keep me steady and balanced while holding onto the confused look on her face. "It's the necklace.""What are you talking about?" She asked as she shook her head. I moved so that I could balance myself. Aria drops her hands that were on my arms and looked in the direction I was looking at. Rai was already beside Samira and was covering our view of the red necklace."The necklace in her hand is the reason why she fell into the water," I told her. Aria squints her eyes and looked back at the necklace. This time she went closer to take a look at it. "She must have felt dizzy because it triggered her memories from the past timeline."She stares at it longer with her hand touching her chin. She looked up to me after she was done checking the necklace. She asked me, "How
Samantha Point of view My eyelids dropped down. Once I forced them to open, everything around me disappeared. I no longer see anyone else or anything. It was purely empty in the area I was. No clouds, no sun, no sky. I was standing over nothing too. The headache was gone too but I felt lightheaded. I felt like I was floating but then I hear someone behind my back. "I never knew you were a softy." I looked back and gasped. She had long brown hair braided to her side. One flower hanging on her left ear and a fruit basket on her right arm. She smiled so brightly. "Your face doesn't seem so friendly." "I'm not a softy nor am I friendly." A grumpy sound appeared in front of her. My eyes widened. His hair, his face, his voice. It's the same. I could recognize that frown. The boy looked up at the girl and smiled. "I don't like people." "I'm not people." The girl responded. "I'm Samira." The boy eyed her hand suspiciously
Samantha Point of view Memories played themselves without context at first. Sometimes with colors, sometimes without. Some even played without sounds. All I could do was watch the memories unfold. But even though it feels like the first time I’ve seen them, somewhere in my mind started to remember. After watching Rai leave with his twin brother, Samira sat there for a moment to think. She sighed with her head in her hands. It was almost like someone opened one of the drawers that was locked in my head and the thing that came out was the thoughts I had at this moment. I remembered feeling so lost, confused, and afraid. I felt like I was completely alone and the anxiety I felt at this time was too much to handle. I had no one to lean on. My eyes widened when I remembered that in this timeline, Linda didn't exist. I fell back on the bench from Samira. The reason why I even considered doing the spell was for her too. Now, she
Third point of view"What do you need?" Sarah goes through her cabinets of witchcrafts and herbs she collected over the years. Valerie admired the place and honestly her. She barely has anything witch related at her house and was taught basic spells. Even if Sarah was not a witch, she has everything Valerie wanted. More knowledge about her anscestors and old relics."Just three candles," Tera replies. She went over to valerie to explain the spell to her since she didn't want to exert too much magic thorugh Anna's little body. She also explained to everyone else that silence should be observed and no one should come close until the spell is over. Tera made sure she was absolutely clear while explaining what would happen and notices Snow holding back. She directly asks Snow, "Is there something you need to ask?"Snow flinches as she was caught. She thought of not asking but curiousity got to her. "Why did you agree to do the spell?"
Third point of view"Since Marcus has been using your blood in all his experiments, I can cast a binding spell with your blood." Confusion circled around the room but Sarah understood what she meant."She sayings she can control whoever has the blood of the owner." Sarah explains for the others. "So if she want to turn the owner's blood into acid then others who has the blood in their system will have their blood turned into acid.""So basically if you want to slow them down or hurt them you have to hurt Lily," Liam says."Yes," Tera answers. To which Liam and Leo immediately shut the idea down with two words. "Absolutely not.""What?" Tera says in disbelieve but Tera does have a history of not caring about anyone else in the room."You really think we would let you hurt our sister any longer?""I'll be able to detect when they are close and slow them down," Tera tries to convince.
Third point of view "You do realize your stories get crazier each time you tell it right?" Riley comments after hearing about the deal Samantha made with the Demon. Sam wanted to make sure everyone knew about the Demon inside her in case it ever comes out. She was technically not breaking the deal she made with it since Tera was not in the room with them. "Demons," Xavier exhaled then he flung his arms to his side. "Of course demons are involved in this." He scratches his head with his hand like he was still trying to wrap his head around the idea that basically anything is possible. "Is there anything else we should know about? Genies? Unicorns?" Christina cuts off her mate before he can say anything else with a question, "So she is just sitting there waiting?" "Waiting for w
Third Point of view"You know about the necklace," Sam takes a shaky breath after Tera reveals how much she remembers. "What else do you remember.""Not much," Tera says. She squints her eyes as if she wanted to see if she could remember but she shakes her head. "Something in me just clicked when I saw that necklace. I suddenly remember that damn spell and then nothing. Everything was blank after we did that spell."Sam nodded slowly. "You probably didn't exist when the world was reset just like-," Sam pauses before she could say Linda. She forces herself not to look but she felt like they all needed to know. "Just like Linda.""What?" Linda came into her view. Sam looked up but felt a pang of regret in her chest. Memories and emotions flooded in that moment and her chest ached. The pain she felt, she just wanted to rip it out of her chest and toss it away. She was tired of feeling this pain of losing someone she loves.
Third Person Point of View The group at the shop were waiting patiently for the rest of the group to arrive. As for Snow, she continued to pace around the room. She had her arms crossed infront of her. She brough up her nails to her lips and began to bit them again. "Don't worry," Christina says to her. Snow doesn't look at her but at the door where they should be coming though moments ago. "They should have been here minutes ago," Snow says worriedly. She looks down at her nails and noticed she was bitting her nails again. She immediately dropped her hands and covered her face. She let out a deep sigh then the door swung open. The first one who came through the door was her mate, Blake. He wasted no time and picked up his worried mate in his arms. Snow shrieked in suprise. When she noticed it was Blake, she hugged him back and burried her face in his neck. "Blake, Thank God!" Everyone's attentioned turned to the door to see i
Third Point of ViewAs everyone breathed out in relief for a second, Ryder couldn't help but sense there was going to be something wrong. Judging by Rufus smile that he hasn't wiped off his stupid face, Rai asked, "Why are you smiling at""It is indeed wonderful that nature created supernatural hunters. Strength, speed, and skill are off the mark," Rufus says as his head was still turned to the side. Rai follows where Rufus was looking at. "But there is always a limit to how good you can be."Ryder finally sees what he meant by that."No! Zack!" Sarah cries. Everyone looks over and sees Zack passed out. Sarah reaches his sides and shows everybody blood on his shirt. "The poison!" She laid him down on the ground. Everyone's attention was back on the hunter as they began to mo
Third Point of view "What do you want?" Sam asks again. Lily leaned towards them but Leo blocked her with his arm. Leo's eyes never left the blade that was right on top of his brother's flesh. One cut and his twin dies. Lily grips Leo's arm in fear for Liam. Liam on the other hand does not feel fear. Only sadness and anger every time he looks at his father's face. "An explanation really. I hate being the pawn that knows nothing." Rufus was smart. Ryder knew that. He wasn't the type to believe what people say too easily. Even if it's from his own father. "An explanation of what?" Zack questions. Rufus does not look away from Samantha. "How are you the reason why the world was reset." Rufus played with his swo
Everyone was frozen in shock except for Zack, Ryder, and Samira. Rufus looks amused with their expressions. He always loved the emotion he could force out of people. His psychotic ego being boosted with every second.Sam knew that Lily's parents died, so she can almost feel how startled she was to be seeing her dad. Not only alive and healthy but on the side of Rufus and is currently trying to kill us. The man did not move. Just as he was ordered to.Lily's dad showed no familiarity with his own children. Not even for Bruce who was staring in fear and pained expression. No one Sam and Ryder don't know how Bruce could know the man but Zack may have an idea of who he is.Liam and Leo couldn't believe it. They both knew that their father died. They saw it. They even buri
Third Point of viewSam never told Rufus how she died. She didn't plan on telling anyone yet. Everyone was still confused about how her death was important but let it slide for now because their focus was to get Marcus. Kill Marcus and hopefully they won't have anybody else killing them this month.Rufus was moved to the pole nearest to the pole minutes ago because Rufus was getting into everyone's skins. "If you never plan to tell how you died then please kill me," he yells loud enough for us to hear him across the room. "You are wasting valuable time.""You know we can't kill you yet," Zack yells back."At this rate of boredom, you just might," Rufus grunts as he began kicking the wall.
