“Hello, Cole, good morning... Hope you are doing well” Luna asked over the phone in a pleasant tone, she was beaming with smiles while talking to him, like a teenage girl in love.

“I’m well... I hope you’re fine too” Cole asked.

“Of course I am… you don’t need to be too worried about it, I’m okay now” Luna said.

Cole wasn’t too worried about her, he was more worried that he might find out that Brittany planned all this. He had been hurt badly by the people around him and was afraid that he’d be hurt again by someone he had allowed into his space. It would be better to get rid of her now than later but he was clinging to some form of hope that she was truly innocent. He hadn’t known her for long so he shouldn’t have been feeling the way he was but for some strange reason, it was hurting him.
