Two days had passed since Mikel's remarkable recovery, and it felt as if time had spun backward. The bond we once shared, the easy chatting, had rekindled effortlessly.

It was as though we hadn’t spent years apart, living separate lives. Today, Mikel decided to visit my boutique after he realized I own the popular Kurtna Fashion House.

The mall was bustling, and as we strolled through, it felt like old times—except for the fact that so much had changed.

"Hey, when are you leaving Shadow Pack?"

I asked, trying to sound casual as we walked together, the sound of our footsteps blending with the hum of shoppers around us.

"Uhm, not after seeing you here, Anna," he replied, his voice warm, with that familiar tone that always hinted at something more.
