Ban: (my family!?)
Melinda: (It's better if you come here to my office.)
Ban: ( Alright we’re on our way)
-
Ban: Sister Melinda! What happened to my family?
Melinda: Just so you know my mother has been keeping an eye secretly on your family a while back and later on she switched the onlookers from demon scouts to bodyguards and placed a higher security on your family as per the council's request as long as we don’t interfere with their current life. I was also told that mother and the others were already planning to head back to the human world for some investigations but suddenly something came up.
To be continue.....
Feyla: What did you say about my father?Ban:(Damn Diego, I heard Lord Drago is the type to have never taken any student and not even his children have been taught by him. And of all people to hear that, it had to be Feyla. She might feel jealous if she heard her father, who refuses to teach his own children, would teach me as a complete stranger.)Seik: Is what you say true? I mean… Were you really taught by Lord Drago himself?Ban: No no you misunderstand. And I am not the only one. All my past classmates were also lucky enough to be supervised by Lord Drago for a while. I heard that he did it as a favor for Lord Anex and he was made to teach us on how to summon Familiars. (Obviously I had made that up.)
Ban: What!? (Is it possible that my identity has been found out?)Seik: Where did you hear that rumor from?Lemin: Actually I overheard Melany talking with Iris. And what’s more she told me that the new demon Lord is actually very young too.Feyla: Who would go around spreading such a rumor and how did this rumor even start?Ban: Do you think that new demon Lord is from this Academy?Lemin: Hahaha. You sure know how to joke. There's no way any of these students can compare to a demon lord and even if they were strong enough they would only be candidates. Claiming to be a demon lord at such a time is hilarious. There is no way a norma
Melany: When a summoner and a familiar comes to a close enough relationship of becoming one, even if we don’t understand one another, we somehow share the same instincts and his instincts just now were as clear as day. He was extremely terrified of your shadow. Ban: Umm. Why is that? (Is it possible that other shadow familiars can sense the presence of other shadow familiars and because Galahad is way stronger than her familiar, it feels weak in the presence of an S class?) Melany: I don’t know why but are you perhaps hiding that familiar you summoned that day in your shadow? Is she possibly thinking that her familiar is scared of Kraken? I can use this to hide Galahad’s existence for the time being.
Later on that day, Kiri told us that we got the approval from Lord Anex to allow Diego to stay the night. Although I did invite him to come stay over with the intent of having some guy conversation with my classmate but i have some other motives, and yes, might as well inform him too. Kiri also sent a telepathy message and informed me that she had just left for the human world with three others and she also told me that this mission is going to be more than just finding out about the incident at my family. I am worried but I have to trust her too and trust in Lady Lisa. Diego: By the way Ban, why are we headed to the lower classes? Ban: There’s a few more whom I will invite to come later at the Luxuria Mansion to come stay over.
A while back through Galahad’s advice, he told me something about the slave contract being a part of the contract I hold with Kiri. Honestly Galahad is full of mysteries and surprises. He would suddenly speak up one day and tell me stuff that is really important and shocking. He has been with me since the very beginning and has gone through a lot with me but I still can't understand a single thing about him. Heck even the higher ups of this world don't have any information about this familiar. He never really speaks until and unless he wants to tell me something which is also a very rare case for him to do so. Ever since he taught me how to use shadow movement, talking with him has been easier as we can communicate with our thoughts. I thought it would be much easier now that we could talk properly but he is still as stubborn and stagnant as before. He would openly mock me though if i did anything stupid or if i cant understand spells to which he term
A while back….The day after the incident with Murea.I wonder what I should do now. Last night was quite a hassle and we have hit a major clue on the case that happened two years ago. I will get back to training to make sure to reach the top at the Inter Academy Competition.“Ban…”Ban: This voice.. Is that you Galahad?Galahad: Yes, It is me.Ban: What is it? It's rare to hear you speak up. Did something happen?Galahad, my familiar would always stay in my shadow and would speak to me once a blue moon through telepathy. Even though he i
Diego: Huh! A slave? Can someone explain. Ban: No No, you misunderstand. You’re not going to be slave, youre going to be a slave holder. Diego: I really don’t know what any of you have been talking about since I was explaining a few things to my friend here. Lord Anex: Friend? Explain? So you brought someone who doesn't even know the current situation. Diego: Lord Anex, I am so sorry, I didn’t mean any harm.. Ban: No it's fine.It was my idea. The more the better. Sir Murea, you don't have to do that. Murea: Haha, my Son is scared.
Grey: I don’t know and I can't explain it well but it feels pretty clear that I don't have a feeling of greater loyalty towards Master Diego than to Lord Ban. Diego: Why is he calling me Master? Is that the effect of the contract too? Ban: Yes, as long as you havent change the conditions on your slave, he is forced to say and do things that he doesnt like or really mean. Kind of like a default setting if I have put it that way. Diego: That sounded really harsh.. Lord Drago: So how can we really prove that the contract had weakened? Before I could say anything Galahad just emerged out of my shadows and took a deep look at Gr
I've hit a wall.. a huge wall.. a wall known as..The unknown. I can't seem to know what it is and I fear it might be my best or my worst choice. I keep hesitating and keep on contemplating. That unknown wall everyone keep on stupidly stumble upon everytime. Expectations, future, responsibilities; all unknown and unseen yet haunting. What must one do to choose? What must one pray to acquire. Are choices correct? Are decisions true? What motivates you? What keeps you alive? Are humans actually dead fishes? Continuously flowing, a goal without a choice. What is fate? Why does it bound us? What is destiny? Is it worth sacrificing one's happiness? What are questions to begin with? Why must they exist? Are we ever so doubtful? Why can't we just walk true? Walk pass the wall I walk away but still can't seem to ignore it. I swam across but always found myself on the same side of the river. When can the wall break down so I may cross it. Why is change so slow? Why is change so hard? Why am
How absurd! I cannot fathom just how insane these people are that they would do such a thing. Ten Million souls. That is seriously not a small number at all. And they said that they are destroyers of worlds? Does that mean that there are other worlds besides our own that we do not have a single idea of? And if what she said is true… Then does that mean that Galahad too, a long time back, was responsible for the death of Ten Million lives!Lord Drago: Your words seem to carry a lot of secrets, Spier.Spier: I acknowledge you as my master but you shouldn’t really pry on things you are not ready to know. You don’t want to know what happened to the last person who was a bit too curious.Ban: The last person?
Spier: To think you would wear it so confidently not even knowing what it is and what its abilities are. You are merely wishing for death. Lord Drago: How is that possible? Aren't all fragments of the Holy grail supposed to possess the symbol of the Holy Grail in them? Why is it that the ring does not? Are you mistaken? Spier: Obviously you’re just all too ignorant. Boy, set your senses on the ring and try to draw out its power. Ban: Set my senses? You mean like concentrating my Spiritual Sense on the ring? Spier: What else? Ban: Umm let me try. I closed my
Ban: The Zodiacs of Hell? Are you saying that Galahad is one of them, A Fallen Angel too?Lord Drago: Although the enlightenment that was shown to me when I formed the contract was short, it was enough for me to know at least much. That is why I had originally tried to keep it a secret and had thoughts of firstly asking you since you also had formed a contract with one but I find it odd that you did not receive the same revelation I did.Ban: Well I don't- huh? What?Lord Anex: What is it?Ban: Umm Lord Anex. Can you do me a favor and have everyone else except Lord Drago and Sir Murea, be transported somewhere save.Melinda: What! No
-Centuries agoA frail looking demon was on his bed waiting for his day to come. Along with him in his room were two young boys having a good time with each other. The Old Demon looked over to the two children playing and smiled a gentle smile like he no longer had any regrets. He called out to them and they both came running and jumped on his bed.“Father, are you going to tell us another story?’’ said one of the boys and the other one too was eagerly listening to what the old man had to say.“Haha, you two are always so full of energy, it makes me happy to be able to pass on my inheritance to you two. Although it makes me sad I might not be able to see you grow
Murea: Demons are unique beings that possess abilities and talents only a few humans will ever have. Although we are small in numbers, we have never fallen behind. When a demon is born, his lineage and what he inherits from his parents are decided and he will live with what he is born with for the rest of his life. No one can change that. At Least that's what we thought. Not many know of this but in the Avareza Familia hidden archives, lies so many secrets that are not known to anyone.Lord Drago: True, the Avareza domain is full of secrets and it was a spoken rule since the past that the other Lords shall not pry on these secrets.Ban: There is something like that?Murea: Yes.Even i don’t know the details of it and i fear Even Lord Lucifer knows very
