Mysterious Stranger Is My Boss!

Ruby's POV

The man from that night. That's the nickname I gave him. I didn't know his name, so that's what I could call him.

I thought I would never see him again. Because, I didn't want to. But, I saw him in the company, in my team and also...inside the break room.

Who the hell is this man and how did he manage to get into the company?

I thought he was here because he wanted more money. But after listening to Maya, I'm not sure he is here for that. He looked more dashing than that night and he was wearing one of the latest designs done by our company.

Since he's rich enough to buy that, I guess he's not that poor.

"You have the nerves to leave behind that cash, don't you?" He asked me.

We are both alone in the break room. Maya betrayed me and left, with the average looking man that was behind the man from last night. I should stop calling him that.

"I thought you needed it" I replied, avoiding his gaze. Is he going to hurt me?

"How's your pussy?" He suddenly asked. I didn't know when my hand flew to his mouth. I looked around and remembered we are alone. He said that word without any hesitation.

"Don't talk about that night. I'm fine" I said, taking my hand off his mouth.

That was a lie. After I left my parents mansion that day, I was unable to walk throughout Sunday because of the pain.

"Ruby..." He called my name. How did he find out? He knows my name but, I don't know his. That's unfair.

"What do you want?" I asked, glaring at him.

"Can I touch you?" He asked.

Huh? That's sudden. Why does he need permission to ask that? No, wait! Why is he asking me that? Is he some kind of pervert pretending to be rich? Does he want to continue where we left off that night?

"Why?" I covered my chest with my hands.

"I swear, I won't do anything intimate" he promised. I trust him, so I let him.

I watched him take off the leather glove in his hand. I didn't even realise he was wearing that. I'm not the kind of person that glances at people's attire, even if I'm a designer. I prefer to create something I haven't seen before.

Slowly, he raised his hand and touched my cheek. His fingertips were cold and wet. Slowly, his finger slipped down to my neck and I flinched.

Immediately, I slapped his hand off my face.

"That's enough" I said.

"I'm sorry" he apologised and put the gloves back on.

"Since you've gotten what you wanted. Let's never meet again" I said to him and left.

Why was I feeling hot after he touched me? This has never happened before, even when I was with Rowan.

Maya was outside the break room, waiting for me. We left together without looking back.

"Did you find out who he was?" She asked me.

"No, I don't care. We promised never to see each other again" I said.

I know I said that. I told him never to meet again. That's what we promised. But, why is he sitting on the president chair during our meeting?

Earlier today, we got an email for a meeting between the leaders and assistants with the new president. There was a new president in the company and of course, he has to meet with his employees.

Why is the new president the man from last night? Why is he also looking at me?

"Are you alright, Ruby?" Rowan asked me, with his gentle voice.

Does he think I'll fall for it again?

"I'm fine" I replied, harshly and took another glance at him. He's my boss. That man from that night is my boss. I slept with my new boss! I wish there could be a fire outbreak in the company so I never get to see his face again.

"Good afternoon everyone, I'm Jaxon Rodrigo, the new CEO of BB Design Company. Though, my tenure is temporary, I hope we work together" he said, in a calm voice.

Even if his speech was small, his voice was able to make them clap their hands.

Do they know how rough he is on the bed? It's not like I can tell them that.

"Let's get on to introducing yourself. I'd like to know every one of you very well" he spoke. Why does it look like that sentence was directed towards me.

Everyone introduced themselves one after the other. The ladies among them tried to even change their voice, hoping to seduce him.

How disgusting.

"Are you alright, Ruby?" Rowan asked again.

Why is he caring about me? I know he sounds certain, but I hate it so much.

"The design team?" The boss asked, waiting for us. Rowan sprung up from the chair and adjusted his suit.

"My name is Rowan Green. I'm the head of the designing department. Nice to meet you boss" Rowan spoke plainly.

"Hmm" was the boss response as his gaze went to me. I slowly stood up, avoiding his gaze.

"I'm Ruby Carman, the assistant head of the designing department. It's... Nice to meet you sir"

No! It's not nice to meet you.

I hate myself so much. I feel so embarrassed seeing the mocking smile on his face. Why the hell is he smiling? Others are going to misunderstand.

"Nice to meet you too, Ruby. I know we'll see each other frequently now. I can't wait for that"

Fuck you!

"Yes sir, I can't wait for that also" I replied. Tears almost dropped from my eyes. He's the same man I promised never to see again.

Why is he teasing me? I sat down and Rowan was still looking at me.

"Do you know the boss?" He whispered.

"Why do you care?" I asked softly.

"Are you still upset with me because I love someone else?"

The nerves of this annoying homo sapien. I wish I could smash his head on the table, but I held myself back. The last thing I'd want to do is to avoid the boss's attention, which I think is not possible.

He's still looking at me!
