Chapter 6

I am about to take my knife and attack the guards when a hand stopped me.

"D-don't, please." How can she be still awake?

"I'll talk to them, you can take everything you want here, but just, don't," she said.

"Sure, you can have her in exchange for the thing I want. Don't even try to trick me, or else I won't show any mercy," I said smiling and pointed the gun at the woman's head.

"O-okay, I'll find it," he said nervously and began to rummage. A few minutes later he gave me what I needed. I sent a message to Yuhan.

I put the two to sleep again before running away, but I saw a girl, and she heard everything. Maybe dauther of the gov, So I just ignored her and left there.

When I gave yuhan the usb, he immediately reported it to our boss and he drove me home.

"What's the matter, baby?" he asked, so I glared at him for calling me strange nicknames again.

"Hahahaha, chill."

"Gov's wife is cheating." I whispered.

"Why are you interested in other people's affairs?" yuhan asked in astonishment.

"Its not like I'm interested, I just remembered when Josh cheated on me with someone he truly loved." I explained. Many lives are ruined simply because of a political marriage. I hate it.

"Rafaelia, why do you have to love too much? It's not forbidden to love, but don't go crazy because of it. I'm afraid, you'll like that childish man."

"I hope so," he said and smiled at me.

Yuhan just drove me to the outside of our gate. The house light was still on, maybe warren is still awake and waiting for me.

When I opened the door, I saw Warren was still in his seat before I left but he is sound asleep.

I approached him and pulled his hair that was blocking his closed eyes.

"I'm sorry," I whispered and kissed him in the forehead.

The next morning, I woke up next to Warren with his arm and leg resting on me like I was a pillow.

"Wake up Warren," I woke him up. He frowned and looked at me.

"Good morning, Wifey," he greeted softly while rubbing his eyes like a child.

"I'm starving," he said pouting.

"Me too," I said smiling.

"Cook for me, please?" I am surprised at his sudden request. He had puppy eyes so I didn't try to make any excuses.

Also, it was a day for me to get back at him. After I cooked, I laid it all on the table. Warren looked at the plate's flesh in astonishment. Eggs that have been burned, hotdogs that had blackened, bacon that have been blackened as well, and rice that has been rocky in hardness.

Embarrassed, I smiled at him.

"I'm sorry Warren, I'm not like other wives who are good at cooking," I said while holding the spatula tightly.

He quickly sat up and smiled at me. "It's okay, it's delicious, humph!" I immediately gave him water because he had already choke from the first bite.

"I'm sorry, Warren," I said worriedly as I caressed his back.

"Hmm, what about, let's just eat in the restaurant?" He did not listen to me. He just continued to eat and drinking at the same time. I didn't notice that I'm already smiling as I watch him eating.

"Thank you, Warren." You're making me feel special .

"Huh? Shouldn't I be the one to say thank you?" he asked in surprise.

I just shook my head, and smiled. So, this is how it feels when someone appreciates something you did even if it wasn't good.

"Aren't you going to eat, wifey?" he asked.

"Of course I'll eat. It's my first time cooking so I have to taste it," I said and took a bite but I also immediately spit it out.

"Oh my gosh, Warren, I knew it's terrible. we should just eat outside. You'll upset your stomach with these!" worried I said.

"It's worth it, Wifey," he said with a smile. But i insisted to stop him from eating it all. We just continued our small breakfast in a cafe.

Seriously, warren’s passion for cakes. As for the messy house we left, we just called a cleaner.

the kitchen's state is just embarrassing. I hope Warren did not see what happened to his precious kitchen.

After having our breakfast, we toured at the mall. Warren did a lot of awkwardness. he is excited about children's items and also had a lot of ice cream.

"Let's watch a movie," he suddenly said while pulling me to the cinema.

"What do you want to watch?" I asked him. Even though I know what it is.

"Of course, Cartoons!" he shouted back, reason for people to look at us so I immediately hid my face cause, some of them might recognize me.

I pulled Warren away from those people. When I saw that they no longer looking at me, I turned to Warren.

"Waahh, what's the matter, Warren?" I asked in shock when I saw him in tears.

"A-are you embarrassed having me?" tearful he says.

"Silly boy, of course not! Who said that, and why should I be embarrass about you?" I asked confusedly because he is about to cry.

"C-cause, my cousins ​​and siblings said, I'm crazy, stupid and childish," he explained while looking at the ground.

"Don't think about what others are saying. What's important is important," I told him seriously.

"Huh?"

"I'm sorry, I'm not good at motivational speeches, but don't worry, I'm not like them, i like the way you are." I said with a smile and he laughed.

"You're really smart, I'm lucky to meet you," he said with a wide smile. If you say it like that, i won't be able to leave you like this.

"I'm not nice," I whispered.

"Did you say something?"

"Nothing, after we watch the movie, let's go home because I still have some work tomorrow," I said here.

“Yeah, thank you so much for joining me here,” he told me.

After we watched the children’s show, we had planned to have lunch, when I forgot something very important. MASK!

"Isn't she Rafaelia?"

"Yeah, Come on, let's get closer." And yeah, more and more of them are approaching me.

"Warren, Run!" Warren and I immediately ran out of the mall. We laughed like a child while running away from the crowd.

We gasped as we walked away from the mall entrance. Later on, we both laughed at the same time.

"Let's find a good spot for lunch," I said and held his hand as we walked together.

We had lunch in a restaurant and bought ice cream for the last time, before getting home.

When we got home, he collapsed on the sofa.

"I really had fun, Wifey. Thank you so much," he whispered before finally falling asleep.

"Warren you shouldn't sleep here, and change your clothes first," I reminded him but he is already snoring.

"Warren? Wake up," I whispered but he wouldn't listen. Oh gosh.

"Okay, fine. Rest well, Warren." I whispered to his ear and kissed him in the forehead. I went upstairs to get ready for bed.

The next morning, I woke up early, Warren is not by my side. I thought I would wake up next to him. So I looked for him. When I got down, I saw Warren in the dining room, preparing breakfast.

"Good morning, Warren," I greeted him, he immediately turned to me happily, and greeted me back.

"Good morning, Wifey, breakfast is ready," he said smiling and made me sit down.

"Wow, it looks good. Did you cook it for me?" I asked.

"No, the maid cook it, I prepared it though," he said smiling.

"It's so good, Warren," I said. His cheek turned red from my simple compliment and smiled.

I'm sorry yuhan but this smile, this cute innocent looking guy in front of me, I'll protect him no matter what. I will protect this innocent smile.
