"I will be waiting," I said to him before hanging up, my jaw clenched as I stared out the window.

"Luke, drive to Waves eatery," I told my driver. I was sitting in my Limousine, sipping some wine. My thoughts wandered back to Ava. Why can't she let this go? Why is she being so stubborn? My heart pounded in my chest, reminding me of the dark secret I would have to keep hidden forever, the dark secret that could cost me a lot if I did not fix it soon.
