Chapter 55 –  Not A Superwoman Too

(Lexi’s POV)

My head must have cracked into three, and now, I had become a certified insane person, having my hallucinations.

When I opened my eyes, I was in dreamland, in bed and in the arms of the man I had claimed as my boyfriend for the past few days, but in reality, he was never mine… could never be mine. Finn pulled me to him when I moved. Slowly, I craned my neck to see his face and checked if he was awake, but it was only an excuse to see Finn because his even breathing was already proof he was asleep.

My eyes feasted for a moment, taking my chances to look at his arresting perfection. I clenched my fists, stopping myself from lifting my hand to graze the skin of his angelic face. When I went to the company clinic this afternoon, the nurse and her intern could not help telling me I was lucky to be Finn’s secretary and always have my chance of seeing the Mars.

“He looked delicious,” the young intern said, making the nurse giggle. “Does the younger Mr. Mars have a girlfriend now
