(Lexi’s POV)

Lexa halted abruptly as she stepped out of the bathroom when she saw me beside our sleeping sister in bed. Her face looked startled, seeing me, and my proof was that her hand remained to hold the towel in her head for a few seconds.

“Do I look like a ghost to you?” I grinned, covering half of Aliyah’s body with the blanket.

“They provided us with everything,” she sighed, looking at our pajamas in the same style, but hers was floral pink, and mine was white.

“Yeah,” I blinked, staring at the tiny prints on my sleepwear. “Elenita said the Mars are always like this.”

She continued drying her hair with the towel as she walked toward the dresser and opened the drawer to get the hairdryer.

“Why do you look surprised?” I eyed her suspiciously, watching her sit in front of the mirror and turn on the hair blower.
