Eleventh Chapter

“Raya?"

I heard a faint yet deep voice from my sleep. I must still be dreaming about David moaning my name as he reached climax, ramming me from behind, gripping onto my waist and pulling on my hair. He moaned louder and louder, not once slowing down, until he exploded into me, blurting out my name when he did.

“Raya," I heard again. “Wake up."

I was being delicately shoved back and forth, causing my eyes to flutter open. I opened my eyes to the image of Rain bent over me. I closed them again only to fling them open. When I was certain Rain was definitely standing in front of me, I sprung out of bed.

“Whoa," he exclaimed. “It's just me, Raya."

He said quickly, but I wasn't worried about him. I was worried about David. With a pounding heart, I looked to the other side of the bed. There was no sign of life. I scanned around the entire small apartment but there was not a single trace of him or the activities we did the night before. The place was spicy and span, not literally, but rid of any trace of extra life. I was shocked but relieved.

“I told you I was going to come down myself if you didn't come to the mansion early."

As my heart rate stabilized, I rubbed my eyes to rid them of sleep. "Early?” I mumbled. "What time is it?”

"Minutes after 11 am.” he muttered as he headed for the only chair in my apartment.

I opened my mouth to tell him not to sit there, but I was not about to explain why. I then properly heard what he said to me. "11 am?!” I exclaimed.

He shot me a puzzled look. I must have overslept, burnt out from the activities of the night before. It made me wonder how David, who did most of the work, was able to get up early, hop on a flight and return to his wife like nothing ever happened. I wondered what he was going to tell her, how he was going to cover his tracks, but then I didn't care too much about it. I had a nice time and that was all that mattered.

“Do you always leave the door to your apartment unlocked?"

I was so engrossed in my thoughts, I forgot Rain was in the room. My eyes traveled to the door before returning to his.

"I don't leave it open,” I uttered. "I just…" I took a moment to cook up what I was going to say. “I was so tired after eating and I passed out."

He looked at me for a few seconds, eventually nodding in agreement. “The painkillers must have made you a bit drowsy too.”

I had completely forgotten about those but I nodded quickly. Anything to make him believe me. I climbed out of bed, pushing myself to my feet. I wasn't even up for a second before my knees buckled, instantly dropping me to the floor.

“Raya!" Rain's nervous voice echoed in the air, followed by the sound of my hands hitting the floor.

I avoided violently hitting the ground, using my hands to stop my falling self. It wasn't much of an impact, but Rain hurried to help me up. “Are you okay?" he asked anxiously.

He picked me up by my hands, leading me back to the bed. “Yes." I whispered. I was genuinely okay, my hands broke my fall.

"The fall during the hike really got to you,” he muttered as we sat down. “We need to get you to a hospital," he said in a decisive tone.

I snapped my head in his direction. I didn't need to go to the hospital. There was absolutely nothing wrong with me. My legs were wobbly from being bent over and fucked for minutes while standing. It was a normal reaction that was going to fade out after a day or two.

“I don't need a hospital, Rain," I chuckled under my breath, rather nervously. “I'm fine."

“You cannot stand, Raya," he countered immediately.

“Yes I can." I blurted.

In a bid to prove my point, I sprung to my feet, hoping earnestly that my knees wouldn't buckle again. They didn't. Pushing myself further, I walked towards the kitchen area, and even did a small twirl because I was feeling confident.

I reconnected my eyes with his. He stared at me in shock. “I told you I'm fine," I mumbled. “I fell because my legs had been asleep for hours."

He said nothing, gazing at me intensely. The heavier the silence grew, the more nervous I became. Did he see something in the apartment that was off? Did I do something that was off or was my show off a little too much? I couldn't tell and the silence was choking me.

"Alright,” he shrugged. "You've convinced me.” I instantly let out a silent breath.

He got to his feet and made his way towards me. My eyes watched him until he was just before me. He took his hands around my waist, pulling me closer to him. His kind eyes searched mine. “I almost couldn't sleep last night knowing you were here by yourself."

I swallowed nervously, trying to keep my smile so he wouldn't notice a thing. "Knowing you were in so much pain and I was responsible broke my heart.” he went on.

He took his thumb to graze over my cheeks gently. "I'm sorry again, Raya.”

My heart pounded. I desperately tried to calm myself down so he wouldn't hear it. I felt terrible for lying to him. He felt guilty about everything. If he was being honest, he was up into the night, worrying about me who was supposedly alone and in pain. When the truth was his father was ramming his reproductive organ into mine without caution, while I moaned the man's name loudly, begging him not to stop.

I continued to look into his eyes, successfully calmed enough. I brought my lips to his, making sure I kissed him deeply. I went on for minutes, indulging him more and more into my kiss. When I was satisfied I had gotten rid of a significant amount of his guilt, I pulled away. “You don't need to be sorry, Rain." I whispered.

“If I had the chance, I would live yesterday all over again."

Including your father's mind-blowing sex, I muttered in my head. A wide smile formed on my lips. His eyes looked at me with joy, the sadness and regret in them was gone. His lips formed into a wide smile and he leaned in for another kiss.

He pulled away not too long after. “Let's go get some real food,” he said with a light chuckle. "You must be hungry.”

"I really am.” I blurted.

The activities of the night before emptied all the food I had in me. “Let me just take a quick shower."

He responded with a nod and I stepped out of his arms. I walked to the foldable wardrobe that poorly housed the clothes I owned. I took out my towel, some shorts, a bra and a T-shirt before heading to the bathroom.

“Are you going to get dressed in there?" I heard him ask just when I was about to step in.

I turned to him with a smirk. “Yes I am," when I noticed his expression a giggle escaped my lips. “Why?"

"Nothing,” he murmured with his shoulders rising then falling backwards. “What if I promise not to look?” he blurted when I turned to step into the shower.

I turned to him again with a bigger smirk. “Do you promise not to look?" I asked in a high-pitched sarcastic tone.

“No." he whispered in a seductive tone, flashing me an equally seductive grin. I felt my body quiver but I was in recovery.

"I'll just dress up in there.”

I nodded to myself, bursting into a small laugh. With my back to him, I heard him laugh too. I walked into the shower, hanging my clothes on the small rope by the wall. I quietly locked the door in case he wanted to barge in. I did my hair into a bun, took out my toothbrush and began applying toothpaste on it.

"My parents must be having the time of their lives right now.”

He yelled from outside the door. I heard him through the sound of running water from the bathroom sink. I stopped brushing, taking a moment to actually think of what they could be doing. Actually, I was thinking about David. If he got back in time, if he was caught, if they were having a heated argument.

After a moment, I shrugged the thoughts away. Whatever they were dealing with, I honestly didn't care. “I'm sure they are." I yelled in response before continuing with my mouth cleaning process.
