Frederick snapped at the cultivators, who exchanged awkward glances before leaving quietly in shame. Not one of them had seen through Regina's scheme.

When Regina started clapping, Frederick had already lifted the illusion, so they had heard every word she said. They were now all aware of her plot.

With this Miracle Grass, Frederick would be able to create the Immortality Pill. While it wouldn’t grant true immortality, it could at least give Lennon a few more months to live.
