Then, he put on gloves and opened the window.

Looking down from the 23rd floor, the height would make one's head spin. The apartment’s exterior was a glass surface. The bare and slick touch made it impossible to imagine how someone could climb to the 23rd floor.

Frederick wasn’t foolish enough to suggest using a rope to lower oneself down—it was the 23rd floor, after all.

A rope long enough to descend 200 feet and strong enough to hold an adult would be too noticeable. And if the killer did use a rope, how would they unhook themselves after landing?
