Crossfire 25

I wasn't sure what had woken me up, the sound of the noisy machine near me, or the pain in my head right now. Both my temples were throbbing hard, and even my eyes were pulsating painfully. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at my slightly dirty black pants, with a few strands of my brown hair falling over my eyes.

It wasn't just my head that hurt, my entire body did too. I couldn't move anything because I was tightly tied to the chair I was sitting on. Someone must have removed my jacket, because now I was just wearing my white shirt. Blood that had already partially dried stained some of my shirt, matching the color of my maroon red tie still hanging around my neck.

Although my head felt like it was splitting apart, I forced myself to tilt my head upwards. At first, my eyes were still blurry, but after a few moments, I began to see more clearly. I must be in a factory building right now because of the noisy machine across from me.

I was willing to bet all my assets at Crossfire Inc.
