My burning fury was replaced with confusion as I gazed at George, wondering what he meant. How did he even know my name?

As if he could read my mind, his lips formed into a smile as he marched closer to me.

“You’re surprised.” He stated.

Still, I did not say anything. My mind was torn, feeling a surge of anger and intrigue.

“Edgar isn’t the man you are looking for, Jack. It’s me.” He said, almost too confidently, wearing a smug grin.

“Then you must know that I’m going to kill you first,” I replied with a vicious stare and without any hesitation, swung my arm across and landed a heavy punch on his face, causing him to fall flat on the ground.

Immediately, the men cocked their guns, aiming it at me again.

Slowly, George stood from the ground, laughing menacingly,

“I’m going to enjoy destroying the rest of you. Surely you must understand why I had to do what I did. I offered your father the deal of a lifetime and he just spat in my face. What did he think was going to happen?!” He
