Lexi’s POV

The flight was exhausting despite the fact that I slept throughout the flight, my body felt like it was going to shut down anytime soon and the worms in my stomach didn't seem too happy with me.

Checking into the hotel the cab driver recommended to me because it’s affordable and also nice. I ordered dinner when my stomach wouldn’t stop growling and I laid on the bed while I waited for my food to come.

Curling up like a wet cat, I thought about Ivan again but the tears that always dropped whenever I thought about him didn’t even do as little as well up in my eyes.

I was exhausted, my body ached and my heart was in my stomach. I felt cold despite the fact that the heater in the room was working perfectly.

How is he doing now? Does he at-least try to remember who I am and why I’m so persistent.

Questions ran through my mind but soon came to a halt when I heard a soft knock on the door, sniffling, I did my robe and went to answer the door.
