“I miss you too, Pige,” I smiled. For some reason she hated the nickname but somehow got comfortable with it as I kept calling her.

“These past two weeks without you have been unbearable but now it’s almost over and I’ll be home soon.” I assured her with a smile.

I miss her too, so much that even words cannot begin to express how much I wish I could just finalize everything I came here to do so I can see her again.

I can’t wait to see her, her smell, her smile and the way her eyes light up whenever she’s talking about the things she loves. I could listen to Lexi talk all day and all night without getting tired and bored and two weeks without her felt like I was in hell.

She has influenced me in ways that I can never imagine, changed me in so many ways that sometimes even I am left in awe at the kind of man that Lexi had shaped me to become.
