Ivan’s POV

All my life, after I became an orphan and with Lexi trampling on my heart I’d always thought that falling in love would be a long stretch until fate brought her back to me again and maybe then we were just a bunch of stupid high school kids but now we’re grown.

We’re older and I desperately don’t want to mess things up between us. Lexi’s groan jolted me out of my thought as she turned over and placed her hand on my chest.

Her bare body pushing up against mine, her breasts touching my ribs and her faint breath on my skin was just everything I needed early in the morning.

Gently pushing her away from me, I stood up quietly because I wanted to do something nice. Leaving the bedroom silently, I made my way to the kitchen to make her breakfast.

It’s the weekend and with what happened yesterday I believe she needed a break, one where I’ll be with her throughout the day.

Opening the fridge, I brought out eggs and decided to make her omelette, steak and maybe everything I could fin
