“You’re going to make us late!” Adeline called out to Cassian who was still having trouble packing his bags but still doesn’t want my help because he’s now a big boy.

It’s been four days since Ivan took such a big step and things have been going better than it was before and I couldn’t be anymore grateful.

“Let him take his time, he’ll be out soon.” Camille laughed, “you forgot this.” She added as she handed Adeline her doll, she doesn’t go anywhere without it but the excitement was so much that she’d almost forgotten it.

“Thank you, Aunt Camille,” Adeline pouted as she took her doll, “I’m going to miss you so much.” She added before hugging Camille.

“Miss me?” Camille scoffed, “the minute I start to miss you, I’ll be in your house and you won’t even have the chance to miss me, you know I’d always miss you so much more.” Camille said.

Adeline’s laughter filled the air just about the same time that Cassian finished packing his bags and coming out to join us.
