Wholesome surprise

Allison’s POV

“And we are here,” Leo announced, as he pulled into the driveway of an imposing, glass structure.

“Where's this?” I asked, looking around in awe. “It doesn't look like a restaurant.”

“Did you want us to go to a restaurant?” He looked saddened, which tugged at my heartstrings.

“No, I just concluded you were taking me to a restaurant when you asked me out on a date,” I said, to which he nodded. “But seriously, what is this place?”

“You will see.” He beamed and gave me a chaste kiss before alighting and coming to my side of the car to open the door.

“Thank you.” I said, taking his hand.

“You are welcome, milady.”

Afterward, we trekked into the building after Leo exchanged pleasantries with the security men outside the building.

We then took the elevator to a room that looked like a kind of barn with many barrels.

“This is my winery,” Leo proudly announced. “It's going to be called Allison.”

“What?” I chortled but he remained serious. “You are joking, right?’

“No, I'm not,”
