FIVE YEARS LATER

Catherine’s POV

“Good morning, mum,” Liam greeted, as he entered the kitchen. “Please don't tell me we are having waffles this morning.”

Shrugging, I replied. “Okay then, I won't.”

Three years ago, Liam suddenly developed a strong distaste for waffles and pancakes, those two foods used to be one of his best foods, so I was confused when he suddenly started hating them.

“Mum,” He whined. “I don't like waffles. What am I going to eat?”

“Quit whining like a kid, Liam, and just eat whatever mum made. You are such an ungrateful brat.” Leo's voice rang through the kitchen, as he also entered.

Liam darted him a glare but said nothing, then averted his gaze to me, silently pleading for my help.

“Good morning, mum. Hope you slept well?” Leo said, to which I nodded, beaming.

“Morning, baby, and yes, I did,” I replied. “As for you, Liam, if you don't want to eat waffles, then make your own food, alright?”
