FIVE YEARS LATER

Allison’s POV

“I wonder why the CEO suddenly called an emergency meeting,” Tom, my colleague and the leader of the finance team uttered, as we both stood in the elevator.

“Hopefully it's for a good reason because this has never happened in the past three years.” I replied, to which he sighed.

“I know right. I hope so too,” He said, just as the elevator screeched to a halt. “Let's go.”

Walking into the conference room, we saw Mr Isaac Sanders, the CEO conversing with his secretary who was typing fastly into her MacBook.

Tom and I were the first team leaders to arrive at the meeting.

“Good day, sir,” Tom and I greeted in unison before taking our seats.

“Good day,” He responded, just as the other team leaders sauntered into the room, and greeted him.
