A shocking revelation

Leo’s POV

As I inscribed my signature on the folder of business proposals on my desk, my phone vibrated with an incoming call.

Capping my pen, I grabbed my device and checked the caller ID. My lips flashed with a smile when I saw that it was Liam calling.

“Hey, man,” He said, as soon as I answered the call. “How are you?”

“I'm good. How are you?” I asked. “I was even planning on calling you later today but you have beaten me to it.”

“Same here,” He replied. “I hope nothing happened? You are okay, right?” His voice was thick with concern which made me huff.

Out of the three of us, Liam was the one who inherited our mother's worrying genes.

My mum could worry about stuff that would and had never happened before in history.

Dad often teased her about her worrying nature, asking how she had become a neurosurgeon even though she was a chronic worrier.
